Scroll: Any L2 can do the same thing as Blast, but it won’t actually help drive growth and network effects
Scroll co-founder Ye Zhang posted on X platform, "Anyone can build a smart contract and airdrop tokens to those who deposit stETH/wstETH. What makes BLAST different is that it has the support of famous venture capitalists and influential people. Seeing experiments like BLAST is not a bad thing, it shows how much TVL you can get once L2 decides to fulfill the airdrop expectations. Any L2 can do exactly the same thing, but it does not actually help to drive real growth and long-term network effects."
