US Senator Elizabeth Warren (Democrat from Massachusetts) has called for an update to the country's bank secrecy laws to address the "threat" of cryptocurrency. She stated: "We need to update it again because there are new threats. It's cryptocurrency." She claimed that cryptocurrency is being used for terrorist financing and drug trafficking.
