Kazakhstan’s financial regulator seized 980 illegal crypto exchanges in 2023
The Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FMA) of Kazakhstan stated in a document that a total of 980 unregistered cryptocurrency exchanges providing services to citizens of the country will be closed by 2023. It also launched 9 investigations into "illegal trading activities" and money laundering.
