US Presidential Candidate: Gary Gensler Still Fails to Say whether ETH is a Security
Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican candidate for President of the United States, harshly criticized the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and its chairman, Gary Gensler, for failing to clarify cryptocurrency regulations. He stated that regulatory agencies must keep up with current trends and used FTX as an example to demonstrate that the current regulatory framework of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is not effective. In addition, Vivek Ramaswamy also pointed out that Gary Gensler has not yet specifically stated whether Ethereum (ETH) should be classified as a regulated security.
