Number of licensed crypto companies in Spain to grow by 50% in 2023
According to the Spanish Central Bank, the number of licensed cryptocurrency-related companies in the country will increase by 50% in 2023. Based on data released by the bank and a report from Criptonoticias, it has recently issued operating licenses to about 30 companies, and the list of approved cryptocurrency operators currently has 85 members.
The list includes major cryptocurrency exchanges such as BitPanda, Crypto.com, and Binance's Spanish branch. In addition to these exchanges, there are smaller Web3 companies and cryptocurrency custody institutions. (Cryptonews)
