South Korean game developer Netmarble has recently suggested that 70 employees of its subsidiary "Metaverse World," which is responsible for the metaverse-related business under Netmarble FC, resign. According to a member of the company, "After careful consideration, we have decided to liquidate Metaverse World due to the deterioration of the relevant market." It is reported that Metaverse World has been actively developing metaverse business, developing "Grand Cross: Meta World," and signing an agreement with the operator of the Layer 1 project SUI, Mysteen Labs. Last April, it also collaborated with The Sandbox to strengthen its metaverse content.
