Financial officials of the Swiss city of Lugano say it’s “entirely possible” for Bitcoin, CBDC and stablecoins to coexist there
According to Paolo Bortolin, a financial official in Lugano, Switzerland, Bitcoin, CBDC, and stablecoins can "completely coexist" locally because they can provide services for different purposes for users. In addition to BTC and USDT, Lugano also accepts local stablecoin LVGA based on blockchain for payment, which is designed for payment in the city.
