U.S. Energy Information Administration requires cryptocurrency miners to provide energy consumption data
According to report by Bitcoin.com, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has sent letters to cryptocurrency miners requesting data related to energy consumption and mining configurations. Based on a letter posted on social media, miners must report information about their activities in January by February 23.
