Zhou Hongyi: The concept of "metaverse" may make a comeback next year
Zhou Hongyi, the founder of 360, said that the concept of the metaverse may make a comeback next year due to the influence of OpenAI's release of Sora. He believes that there are three things that will greatly help the development of the metaverse: first, head-mounted devices, including Apple's Vision Pro; second, the development of AIGC can produce more 3D content; third, using AI to do 3D modeling, followed by rendering. Nevertheless, the metaverse is still an application-oriented concept, not a simulation-oriented concept, and simulation is still a concept of artificial intelligence. (Pengpai)
