Founder of The Sandbox: Players are “losing patience” with crypto gaming token incentives that lack practicality
Sandbox founder Sébastien Borget stated at last week's NFT Paris conference that Web3 gamers have "lost patience" with games that deploy token incentive models without actual utility.Borget believes that many blockchain games have already deployed similar token incentive mechanisms, but the delivery speed of in-game tokens and NFT utility is "not fast enough." Only a few projects with actual gameplay and utility have survived the bear market, and further pointed out that the current Web3 gaming trend allows players to obtain core gameplay from jumping, rather than "attracting players to buy tokens."
