UK-based Recap receives £300K grant for privacy-focused crypto tax platform development
UK-based crypto tax calculation service provider, Recap, has secured a £300K Innovate UK Grant to develop its privacy-focused collaborative crypto tax and client due diligence platform for accountants and professional services. Founded in 2017 by CEO Daniel Howitt and CTO Ben Shepheard, Recap's software offers real-time tracking of accounts and supports all exchanges and wallets. The platform also has end-to-end encryption to ensure customer transaction data is secure and private. Recap's system is currently used by investors, accountants, and wealth managers globally, including in the UK, US, and South Africa.
