MetaMask partners with Mastercard to test first blockchain-powered payment card
According to CoinDesk, cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask is testing a fully blockchain-based payment card, which runs on the vast network of Mastercard and is issued by Baanx.
According to related marketing materials, the MetaMask/Mastercard payment card will be "the first truly decentralized Web3 payment solution ever" and will allow users to use their cryptocurrency for "daily shopping expenses" at "all places that accept card payments".
