Bitcoin mining company Bitfarms purchases more than 50,000 mining machines to increase computing power to 21 EH/s in 2024
Bitcoin mining company Bitfarms purchased 28,000 Bitmain T21 ASIC miners and 19,280 T21 miners at a price of $14/TH on March 11, as well as 3,888 Bitmain S21 miners and 740 S21 hydroelectric miners at a price of $17.50/TH, for a total of 51,908 ASIC miners.Bitfarms President and CEO Geoff Morphy stated that the ASIC miners are expected to be delivered this year and are projected to bring the company's total hash rate to 21 EH/s by 2024, which is approximately 3% of the Bitcoin network's processing power.
