Mina Protocol integrates Celestia modular data availability layer to improve zkApps throughput
Mina Protocol, a zero-knowledge proof public chain, announced a partnership with modular blockchain project Celestia. The Mina ecosystem will integrate Celestia's modular decentralized data availability (DA) solution. The integration project is led by zk-SNARKs pioneer team, Geometry Research, with technical support from o1Labs. In addition, by introducing Celestia's DA solution, Mina's zkApps will significantly improve its capabilities, especially in handling data on a large-scale chain. The throughput of zkApps will be further improved. This partnership coincides with Mina's upcoming mainnet upgrade, which will bring a more user-friendly zkApp programming model and is expected to significantly increase developer activity and the number of products in the Mina ecosystem.
