Bitget strikes multi-million dollar deal with La Liga
Crypto exchange Bitget and football league LALIGA have joined forces in a multi-million dollar partnership.
The deal makes Bitget LALIGA's official crypto partner in Eastern, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
Bitget aims to expand into the sports sector, while LALIGA is seeking to embrace innovation and reach new fans.
LALIGA has rolled out a number of technology-focused initiatives including AI, VR, Big Data, and machine learning.
The league's has also demonstrated its openness to crypto and blockchain through a number of high profile NFT collaborations.
"We want to be pioneers in technology," said LALIGA president Javier Tebas.
"This agreement is crucial for our international expansion."
"Partnering with LALIGA allows us to accelerate crypto growth in sports," said Bitget CEO Gracy Chen.
"We believe this collaboration will enhance the experience for over a billion people."
Bitget says the partnership strengthens the company's sporting credentials and for LALIGA demonstrates its evolution in integrating crypto into the sports industry.
