Fan engagement Web3 project, Chiliz (CHZ) has confirmed an airdrop of its PepperChain (PEPPER) token to CHZ holders across major exchanges outside the US.

Chiliz CEO Alexandre Dreyfus shared the update on X, following through on a promise made in August to reward CHZ holders with the new community token, PEPPER.

Chiliz is a blockchain platform that allows users to engage with sports teams and entertainment through its Socios.com app. Its main product is its multitude of fan tokens.

Also, it created tokens for teams such as the Golden State Warriors, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona.

Although further details about the distribution process has not been disclosed, this event aims to reward long-term supporters of the Chiliz platform by providing them with PEPPER tokens.

The airdrop of PEPPER tokens is part of a broader strategy to expand and diversify the Chiliz ecosystem. It is best known for its fan token platform and deep involvement in the sports and entertainment industries.
