LDA also supports the “Innovation in the Cosmos” podcast, launched by Kinetix in early 2024. The podcast has expanded from a focus on the Cosmos chain to innovation across the Web3 space. Similarly, Dogechain Roundtable, another LDA project, started as a project for Dogecoin fans. This podcast also evolved into one covering developments in the memecoin space.
Expanding the Reach of Web3 Through Media
Podcasts are part of LDA’s marketing and consulting services. The company does strategic business development, incubation, and community building for crypto startups . It helps these firms grow their audiences and communicate with their communities.
By creating shows like The Aggregated and Dogechain Roundtable, LDA taps into Web3’s grassroots communities. This also helps onboard new users to Web3, educating them about decentralized ecosystems.
On the Flipside
- Crypto media faces challenges in maintaining editorial integrity while also supporting their operations. In particular, monetization is a challenge for both crypto and traditional media.
- Crypto’s expansion to podcasts was partially due to traditional media’s negative attitude towards crypto.
