Bitcoin Remains Steady at $97K as Hyperliquid (HYPE) Surprises the Market

Sunday, December 1, 2024 – Bitcoin price is trading at $97.200 with a modest 1% gain on the day.
Most of the major altcoins are showing positive signs today. Ethereum (ETH) is attempting to break above the $3.750 mark. Solana (SOL) is trading at $237,15, down 2%. Ripple (XRP) is facing resistance near $1,95, while Cardano (ADA) is slowly inching towards the $1,10 resistance. While many of the major coins have maintained a stable performance, a few exceptions like the newly launched Hyperliquid token have garnered significant interest.
Despite Bitcoin’s lackluster performance, expectations remain high in the community, with investors eager for the coin to surpass the $100.000 mark. At the same time, Bitcoin’s dominance in the global cryptocurrency market has been declining, indicating greater diversification among investors.
In the altcoin scene, the highlight is Hyperliquid (HYPE), which has shown An exceptional performance since its launch. With an impressive appreciation, the token is already trading above US$9, reaching a market capitalization of over US$3 billion in just a few days. This rise makes it the best performing cryptocurrency among the 100 most valuable on the market today.
In addition to Hyperliquid, other coins also recorded notable gains. Among them, meme coin Brett (BRETT) and Helium (HNT) stood out, with both seeing increases of over 25% in the last 24 hours.
