DePIN and spatial streaming reshape immersive AI experiences
The integration of decentralised physical infrastructure networks (DePIN) with spatial streaming technology is pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence (AI) and immersive digital experiences.
Mawari Network, a DePIN platform, is at the forefront of this shift, enabling seamless real-time streaming of 3D content and democratising access to extended reality (XR) technologies.
Mawari leverages a decentralised network of GPU-powered nodes to overcome challenges such as high bandwidth requirements and centralised infrastructure bottlenecks.
Its patented 3D streaming technology reduces bandwidth usage by 80%, ensuring smooth, high-quality content delivery.
By utilising a global network, Mawari dynamically optimises performance based on user location, addressing system inconsistencies and enhancing reliability.
A notable feature of Mawari’s approach is its Guardian Node license program, allowing individuals and organisations to contribute computing power and earn token-based rewards.
This decentralised architecture not only supports scalability but also empowers participants to shape the future of spatial computing.
Mawari’s technology has already been applied in over 50 XR projects worldwide.
For example, it showcased the world’s first AI-powered digital human in augmented reality (AR) in real-time.
On November 22, 2024, Mawari facilitated a live conference in Tokyo where a digital avatar interacted with panelists and an audience in a futuristic XR setting.
Additionally, its platform powered a live AR art performance that allowed global audiences to participate, breaking geographic barriers and redefining cultural engagement.
With $10.8 million secured in strategic funding from investors like Anfield LTD and Borderless Capital, and collaborations with industry leaders such as KDDI and Magic Leap, Mawari aims to establish the foundation for a spatial internet.
