Bitfinex Analysts Explained: "Don't Be Afraid of Future Drops, Bitcoin Could Reach This Record Level by Mid-2025!"
Bitfinex analysts have predicted that the Bitcoin price could reach $200,000 by mid-2025.
As we approach the end of 2024, Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrencies are expected to experience a major rally in the new year.
At this point, Bitfinex analysts predicted that the Bitcoin price could reach $200,000 by mid-2025.
Bitfinex analysts stated that institutional adoption of Bitcoin will increase in 2025, which will create strong demand pressure and increase the price.
Analysts stated that the declines that may occur in 2025 will be short and mild due to increasing institutional demand, and that the Bitcoin price will be volatile in the first quarter.
“Our expectation is that Bitcoin could reach $145,000 by mid-2025, but if the conditions are right, the BTC price could potentially rise to $200,000.
“Moreover, any correction in 2025 will be milder and shorter, thanks to institutional inflows.”
Bitfinex analysts also offered different scenarios and price predictions for the BTC price. At this point, the analysts also added that if Bitcoin mirrors the 2021 cycle and shows an increase of about 40 percent above its moving averages, it could potentially reach as high as $339,000 this cycle.
“In a less likely scenario, such as a repeat of the 2017 cycle with similar declining BTC returns, Bitcoin could peak around $290,000 in early 2026,” the analysts wrote, although this is unlikely.
Bitcoin has retreated ahead of today's Fed decision and is trading at $103,700 at the time of writing.
