According to CoinDesk, the cryptocurrency Open Patent Alliance (COPA) has once again taken Craig Wright to court, accusing him of contempt of court. COPA believes that a judge previously ruled in March prohibiting Craig Wright from pursuing lawsuits related to his claim of being Satoshi Nakamoto. However, in October, Craig Wright attempted to file a lawsuit for 900 million pounds ($1.1 billion) related to intellectual property associated with the Bitcoin system, which is tantamount to contempt of court. The two-day trial will end later on Thursday. Court documents show that COPA seeks an initial sentence of 18 months for Craig Wright, whose supporters include Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase.
