Polkadot founder: JAM 1.0 is expected to be completed and enter the audit stage by April 2025
On December 19th, Polkadot founder Gavin Wood announced the latest progress of JAM on the Polkadot Fellowship Call. Important information is as follows:
1. JAM SDK: Parity has released v0.1, supporting Rust developers to create services and upload them to JAM.
2. CoreVM: Parity will release the initial version of CoreVM by the latest next month, which is the first official service; it runs arbitrary code on the blockchain without being limited by Gas or block restrictions, achieving true Turing completeness; In addition, Gavin also hopes to demonstrate the ability of JAM and PVM in the DOOM game shortly.
3. JAM 1.0: Expected to complete the full-featured version before April 2025 and enter the audit stage.
4. JAM V2 plan: Introduce quantum resistance and JAM Grid, support the integration and expansion of multiple instances.
