Pantera founder: Bitcoin's peak in this cycle may occur in August 2025
Pantera founder Dan Morehead said in a recent interview that the four-year cycle pattern of Bitcoin will continue, and the market will go through a bull market and then a bear market. The only difference is that after experiencing three 85% declines in the past 12 years, the next correction may only be 50% or 60%, at least for Bitcoin, and smaller currencies may still have greater volatility. If following the four-year cycle pattern, April 19th of this year is the halving time, and the peak of this cycle is expected to be in August 2025. It was previously predicted that the volatility would gradually decrease, as previous halving cycles had greater fluctuations, but this time it will be relatively mild. Not only the halving factor, but also politics and macroeconomic environment are creating favorable conditions for cryptocurrencies. Therefore, the outlook for 2025 is quite optimistic.
