Cardano (ADA) Founder Charles Hoskinson Talks About Ripple (XRP)
Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson evaluated a collaboration with Ripple in his statement.
Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson recently expressed his support for the Ripple (XRP) and Ripple USD (RLUSD) team, pointing to the positive collaboration between the projects.
In a public statement, Hoskinson shared his thoughts on Ripple’s approach and the potential for future integration with other blockchain networks.
“Working with Ripple has been easy,” Hoskinson said, adding that the Cardano team has also been working with the Ripple USD team. Ripple’s stablecoin initiative, RLUSD, recently completed its launch phase, which Hoskinson described as “an incredibly time-consuming effort.”
Hoskinson explained that RLUSD is looking to integrate with other blockchain networks next year, suggesting a self-service model for these integrations similar to Coinbase’s Rosetta framework, which makes it easier to onboard for serious projects.
“They’ll start adding other chains next year,” he said. “My suggestion to them was a self-service model… It makes it much easier to see who’s serious and who’s not.”
“There is no reason why we shouldn’t work together,” Hoskinson said, noting the mutual benefits of the collaboration.
However, RLUSD launched by Ripple does not yet work on the Cardano network, it only operates on Ethereum and XRP Ledger.
