German parliamentary elections are imminent, and many politicians oppose Musk's remarks
the federal parliamentary elections of the lower house of the German Bundestag will be held next month. Recently, American entrepreneur Musk publicly supported the German Alternative for Germany party, which is seen as far-right, and launched verbal attacks on German Chancellor Scholz and German President Steinmeier on social media. This has caused controversy in the German political arena and sparked opposition and protests from many politicians. Scholz criticized Musk without naming him in his New Year's address on December 31 last year, saying that Germany's future "will not be decided by the owners of social media". Current Vice Chancellor Habeck of the Green Party also criticized Musk's comments in his New Year's speech. He also expressed strong dissatisfaction with Musk's comments in an interview with Der Spiegel, warning him not to interfere in the federal parliamentary elections in Germany.
