Pundi AI announces $FX will be renamed to $PUNDIAI, undergoing a 100:1 token reduction

According to the official announcement from Pundi AI, $FX tokens will be renamed as $PUNDIAI during the week of February 10, 2025, and a token supply reduction of 100:1 will take place.

• On-chain upgrade: Users holding Pundi AIFX Omnilayer's $FX tokens will automatically complete the upgrade. Staked tokens will continue to generate rewards.

• Base and Ethereum networks: The upgrade needs to be completed manually or through bridging back to Pundi AIFX Omnilayer for automatic upgrading.

• Centralized exchanges: Exchanges participating in the upgrade will automatically convert tokens. Specific timing is subject to exchange announcements.

Users have three years to complete the upgrade. After upgrading, $PUNDIAI tokens are not locked up and won't cause new token dilution. Platforms supporting staking of $PUNDIAI include MarginX and Baklava Space.
