The University of Toronto’s annual hackathon “UofTHacks 12” officially kicks off at DoraHacks
On January 18th, the 12th annual hackathon at the University of Toronto officially began submissions on the developer incentive platform DoraHacks.io this weekend. The hackathon attracted over 500 outstanding student developers from top Canadian universities such as the University of Toronto and the University of Waterloo to complete hackathon projects within 36 hours. The hackathon was sponsored by well-known companies such as Google DeepMind, RBC, Ubisoft, and 1Password, and supported by the platform provided by DoraHacks.
UofTHacks is Canada's first annual hackathon series initiated by university students and has a history of 12 years. It is also one of the largest student developer hackathons in Canada every year.
