Vitalik: I personally oppose the Ethereum Foundation's staking through service providers and support independent staking
Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, wrote on social media that "I personally oppose using service providers to stake the Ethereum Foundation. We should set an example in supporting independent staking. Staking pools are a good choice for those who cannot stake on their own, but the Ethereum Foundation is not in this situation. We have assets far exceeding 32 ETH and a large number of technically skilled node operators. In addition, this is more conducive to the concept of 'more directly understanding the problems that need to be solved through actual use of technology'."
