Ronin Launches $10M Grant to Attract Web3 Developers

The Ronin Network has been trending since it announced plans for a $10 million grant program for Web3 developers.

The Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) said the initiative, known as the Ronin Ecosystem Grants, will help attract more developers.

Grants are available for developers and “waypoints”—crypto-based bridge services that enhance blockchain interactions. Developers can apply for grants of up to $300,000 in RON tokens , while waypoint projects can secure up to $20,000 to simplify user onboarding and cover operational costs. The grant is expected to increase development activities within the Ronin ecosystem.

The blockchain wrote, “We’re excited to support teams and game studios with innovative ideas to expand the capabilities and utilities of the Ronin Ecosystem.” The grants program is more than just funding. Ronin explained that successful developers will receive milestone-based funding, ensuring they stay aligned to the platform’s vision.

In addition, Ronin’s goal is to empower builders who can address critical challenges in Web3, onboard new users, and boost on-chain activity. This initiative will position Ronin as a hub for DeFi protocols, gaming apps, etc.

More than a Financial Support

Developers participating in the program gain more than money. They get a platform to showcase their work through the Ronin Wallet and Grants website, boosting visibility within the crypto community.

Other benefits for successful developers include access to the Ronin Builders Discord, where these developers can connect with investors, advisors, and fellow innovators. Ronin plans to provide access to tools and integrate these developers into existing apps within its community.

As per an announcement, the program has no fixed deadline. This gives developers enough time to apply when ready. Furthermore, the grant will review applications in four weeks.
