Movement Labs refutes insider trading: no “direct communication” with Trump family DeFi project World Liberty Financial (WLFI)
PANews reported on January 29 that in response to questions about "insider trading", Movement Labs co-founder Rushi Manche said in an interview on Tuesday that the organization had no "direct communication" with the Trump family DeFi project World Liberty Financial (WLFI).
Previously, WLFI purchased about $2 million worth of MOVE tokens, becoming its tenth largest holding.
When asked if he was surprised by this, Manche said: "In fact, I woke up this morning and heard the good news. We actually didn't participate at all. I think we want MOVE-based assets to participate in the system, but we don't have any direct contact with them (WLFI)."
He added: "No, I don't think there was any coordination. We were really focused on the developer mainnet at the time, and there was nothing else." (The Block)
