Tesla reports $600 million gain on its Bitcoin holdings in Q4
Golden Finance reported that Tesla reported a $600 million gain on its Bitcoin holdings in the fourth quarter, as Tesla adopted new accounting rules that allow companies to value digital assets at market prices every quarter. According to Arkham Intelligence, the electric car maker holds 11,509 BTC, which is worth $1.19 billion based on current market prices. However, Tesla did not disclose its Bitcoin holdings in its fourth quarter report for 2024, only mentioning a $600 million gain on "digital assets" at market prices.
