According to Bloomberg, US President Donald Trump's company, Trump Media Group, will launch the fintech brand TRUTH FI.
Additionally, Trump Media Group will invest $250 million in SMAs, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies.
“Trump Media and Technology Group Corp. (Nasdaq: DJT) today announced that the company's board of directors has approved its financial services and financial technology strategy, which will include the launch of its financial services and fintech brand, Truth.Fi.
The board also approved an investment of up to $250 million to be held by Charles Schwab to diversify the company's cash and cash equivalent reserves of over $700 million as of December 31, 2024.
In addition to traditional investment vehicles, these funds may be allocated to: Specialized separately managed accounts (“SMAs”); Specialized exchange-traded funds (“ETFs”); Bitcoin and similar cryptocurrencies or crypto-related securities.
