Avalanche Foundation's former directors issued a statement confirming that the three directors have collectively resigned
On March 8th, it was announced by Omer (@demirelo), former director of the Avalanche Foundation, on the X social platform that three directors, including Aytunç Yildizli and Vikram Nagrani, officially resigned from the board of directors of the foundation and its subsidiaries early this week.
Among them, executive director Aytunç Yildizli ceased his duties on February 28, 2025, and since then the board has been in a state of observation, trying to find a way forward.
Omer stated, "During my term and that of Aytunç Yildizli and Vikram Nagrani over the past 18 months, we have pushed forward with several important initiatives, including establishing the Avalanche Foundation brand image, releasing the first annual report, launching infraBUIDL() and infraBUIDL(AI) incentive programs, and developing the AiFRED project. We have also been committed to strengthening internal coordination within the ecosystem and shifting the growth strategy focus towards new market expansion and strategic partnerships. This collective decision to resign was "carefully considered," and we will continue to monitor the development of the Avalanche ecosystem in the future, wishing all the best for the Avalanche ecosystem and community."
