According to Cointelegraph, the U.S. Department of Housing is considering using blockchain and stablecoins for payment and monitoring of subsidies. The meeting also discussed the idea of experimenting with using stablecoins to pay recipients from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which may first be tested in one office within the department before being widely applied in other offices.
