DOGINME Price Up by Over 90% Following Coinbase’s Upcoming Listing Announcement

Earlier today, Coinbase Assets announced the addition of Doginme (DOGINME) to its listing roadmap, triggering a significant price surge for the digital asset.

DOGINME is a memecoin on Base created after a Farcaster user asked if Dan Romero, the founder of the decentralized media platform, owned a dog. According to the project’s official website , DOGINME was created in February 2024.

In its official announcement, the exchange also shared the Base contract address for the digital asset.

Previously, Coinbase also added CLANKER on Base to its listing roadmap as well.

The crypto exchange has increased its transparency in listing new assets by providing as much information symmetry as possible, when it decides to list new projects, according to an official blog post .

DOGINME Price Spiked Today

DOGINME had a market cap of around $25 million before Coinbase’s announcement, and it spiked to around $76 million afterward.

At the moment of writing this article, DOGINME has a market cap of almost $54 million and the memecoin is up by 92% today.

Ahead of Coinbase ‘s announcement, DOGINME recorded a notable price surge on March 12 when its market cap surged from around $17 million to approximately $29 million.

The memecoin’s 24-hour trading volume is over $15 million, up by over 370% today.
