Crypto Price Today (March 25, 2025): Bitcoin Eyes $90k; DOGE, ADA Spikes

The price of Bitcoin broke above $88k today while catching a bullish momentum on weekly market opening. It hit a daily high of $88,635 in a steady rally but struggled to sustain near that level and fell to the $87k range. This uptrend suggests that Bitcoin could soon hit $90,000 if it continues with the same bullish wave. 

Following BTC, the altcoin market witnessed a huge wave of optimism as leading alts pump over 5% during U.S. trading hours. Among all, ETH caught the attention while surging above $2,100 and SOL reclaimed above $140 mark. 

At the time of writing, Bitcoin price is trading near $87,200 with a 24 hour trading volume of $32.81 billion.

To many people’s surprise for many, Dogecoin (DOGE) is the top daily gainer among top 10 crypto assets by market cap with it surging over 5.3% in the past 24 hours. DOGE price is steadily increasing since last week with it now trading at $0.1850 – up 10% in the past 7 days.

Another notable spike has been attained by ADA today with it surging over 3% today while on its way to recover the $1 price mark. The price of ADA has declined over 25% since hitting $1 earlier this month on Trump’s strategic crypto reserve news. 

Today’s notable price action includes CRO’s 28% jump while BERA, FORM and IP have spiked over 10% in the past 24 hours. On the losing side, ANKR is leading with declining 9% while ID, KAS, NEO and HYPE have dropped nearly 5% today.
