The White House appoints Musk to assist in leading the investigation into the Signal chat leak incident
According to Fox News, White House Press Secretary Karen Lein Levitt said on Wednesday that Elon Musk is assisting in leading an investigation into a Signal chat leak involving the nation's top security leaders and the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, revealed in an article published on Monday that he was added to a group chat on Signal which also included National Security Advisor Mike Wolz, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and CIA Director John Ratcliffe among other top national security leaders. Since then, the Trump administration has faced strong opposition from Democrats and other critics.
