Bitget Copy Trading Updates: Overview of the Bitget futures copy trading upgrade

Bitget copy trading is going through a significant upgrade!

🎉 Key changes include:

1. You will have a separate account for futures copy trading.
2. New copy trading mode: smart copy, which allows you to allocate copy trading funds according to a predetermined ratio.
3. High personalization: Choose trusted elite traders to allocate a 1-on-1 fund pool, ensuring safety when following multiple elite traders.
4. The My Trades page has been redesigned to display more information about your copy trades.

* Users can head to website or update the app (Android version 2.24.0/iOS version 2.25.0) to try out upgraded futures copy trading.

1. Head to Profile from the copy trade page and use the Upgrade button.

2. Select Next and confirm the upgrade details.

3. The upgrade might take 1–10 minutes.

Note:

1. You will need to manually upgrade to the new version. You may continue to use the original copy trading system and features by not performing the manual upgrade.
2. The elite traders you have followed prior to the upgrade will be categorized under Diverse Follow mode. Note: After the upgrade, you will have separate accounts for futures copy trading and futures trading. Make sure to deposit at least 50 USDT into your futures copy trading account after the upgrade so that your copy trades are not disrupted.
3. Head to your copy trading page and use the upgrade button. Make sure all your copy trading orders are closed before performing the upgrade.
4. The upgrade will only take 1 minute. If elite traders you are following place new orders during the upgrade, they will be copied after the upgrade is done.
5. You will not be able to roll back to the older version after the upgrade.
6. Copy trading of Coin-m futures will be temporarily unavailable after the upgrade.
7. You will need to complete the identity verification.

Introduction to the upgrade:

1. You will have a separate account for futures copy trading.
   a.Major changes:
   i.You can view your copy trading assets in your futures copy trading account.
   ii.Your copy trading details will no longer be displayed on the futures trading page.
   b.Benefits:
   i.Your assets are better protected as your futures trades and futures copy trades will no longer affect each other. Any liquidation in one account will not affect positions in the other.
   ii.Your futures copy trading assets are clearly displayed on the page and easier to find.
2. New copy trading mode: smart copy.
   a.Major changes:
   i.Followers now have two ways to copy trades.
   Mode 1: This is the original copy trading mode, renamed diverse follow. In this mode, you can copy multiple elite traders with a single fund pool, maximizing fund utilization.
   Mode 2: This new mode is called smart copy. In this mode, you will allocate isolated fund pools for each elite trader you follow, and the copy trading cost is calculated based on the proportion of funds allocated to the elite trader.
   b.Benefits:
   i.You can use diverse follow and smart copy at the same time. When you start to follow an elite trader, you will be prompted to select the mode you wish to follow them with.
   ii.The classic copy trading mode, diverse follow, helps maximize your fund utilization. To copy trades in a more sophisticated manner and better control the risk of each elite trader, you can use the new smart copy mode.
3. The My Trades page has been upgraded to the Follower Center.
   a.Major changes:
   i.The Total Performance page has been added to display your overall copy trading metrics, including overall PnL, win rate, and total number of copied trades.
   ii.Copy trades under diverse follow and smart copy modes are managed separately. You can query and view detailed data under either mode. For more information, check out the Introduction to the new Follower Center.
   b.Benefits:
   i.Your overall copy trading performance is displayed in a more straightforward manner.
   ii.You can view more detailed copy trading data in either copy trading mode, filtered by elite trader or by position.
   iii.You can use shortcuts to set a take profit/stop loss or close positions.
