Pros of DEX: Security – You have full control over your funds since private keys remain with you, reducing the risk of hacks. Transparency – All transactions occur on the blockchain and can be verified by anyone. Wide variety of tokens – DEX platforms often list new tokens that are not available on centralized exchanges (CEX). No restrictions – You don’t need to register or complete KYC verification to use a DEX; all you need is a crypto wallet. Cons of DEX: Not beginner-friendly – Since there are no intermediaries or support teams, users are fully responsible for managing their funds. Lower liquidity – Some tokens may have slower trade execution or insufficient liquidity in pools. Limited functionality – Unlike CEX, DEX platforms usually lack margin trading and fiat-to-crypto purchases.
